Thad Pryor Offers Innovative Educational Programs through Children of America

Through the process of developing a curriculum for the Children of America program, Thad Pryor and Dr. Vickie Folds have determined key areas of interest for all of the different age groups that are welcome at their educational centers. From infants to 12 year olds, little ones are not only nurtured but encouraged through the many educational programs that Thad Pryor and Dr. Folds have developed.

Thad Pryor has ensured that all of these educational programs reflect the necessary milestones reached by each age level. The educational programs available at Children of America include:

  • Infant (six weeks to 9 months; 9 months to 16 months). The environment for infants is filled with music and offers a comforting atmosphere, allowing them to build their sensory and motor skills. Instructors communicate with parents daily pertaining to the behavior and development of their children.
  • Toddler (16 months to 2 years; 2 years to 2.5 years). Art and language are encouraged at this level, which also emphasizes socialization and motor skills.
  • Preschool (2.5 to 3 years; 3 to 4 years; 4 to pre-K). This level of development focuses on group activities as well as individual progress. Areas of concentration include: independence, colors, shapes, language, letters, physical activity, and creativity. Spanish lessons, reading ,writing, critical thinking, and memory development activities are gradually introduced.
  • Kindergarten. This level of instruction marks the beginning of true school work in a more focused environment. Traditional subjects (science, math, etc.) are introduced.
  • School Age (5 to 12 years). Children of America offers before and after school programs, allowing students to continue their development outside of their traditional school settings. These programs offer homework help and other resources.
  • Camp WOW (5 to 12 years). A summer camp, Camp WOW offers field trips, sports, games, and other activities in an educational, safe, and encouraging environment.
  • Enrichment Programs. These special programs are set aside to help students develop in a particular area.

Thad Pryor’s work with Children of America is something that truly reflects the dedication and knowledge needed to build an educational system that works. Thad Pryor has illustrated his commitment to this cause time and time again, helping children develop their skills in a great setting.
